This is not her first visit, but it's the first time I caught her with the camera! Everyone is glad to see her back in the hallways!

Angela on the road to recovery
I saw Angela this morning and less than 24 hours post-surgery she's already been up walking!!! The physical therapist said he was very impressed with how well she did. She's still a bit nauseous, but feeling better today than yesterday.
Sorry, the Swedish Orthopedic Institute address is actually 601 Broadway. Also, I found out that the parking garage costs $5 for an hour.

Welcome Team Angela!
Hi everyone,
I'm sure you know that Angela came through the surgery very well and is now beginning her recovery.
She's in room 422 at Swedish Orthopedic Institute. The institute is on the First Hill Swedish Campus, but is in it's own building at 801 Broadway (corner of Broadway and James). Parking is available beneath the building.
Here's the hospital's visitation policies: http://www.swedish.org/body.cfm?id=72
Angela's mom Nancy is in town and staying with Ang in the hospital. I'll send an update after seeing her today.
We'll begin posting visiting and food schedules when she's home later this week. Nancy will be cooking, but we just want to give her a bit of a break when we can. Angela really wants us to bring soups. Occasionally, over the recuperation period, we'll take turns taking Nancy out for lunch or dinner. One of us will have to stay with Angela during those times.
As far as specific dates go, Mimi has asked to bring food on November 12. I'll keep you updated.
Much love to you and love to Angela,
Janice
p.s.: Do post photos of happy times and things Angela loves...things and good times she can look forward to very soon!
